Shanghai's getting a bit scandalous. It looks like we're going to get a double dose of shakes and shimmies as Gosney and Kallman’s Chinatown and Sebastian Noat’s Cabaret are both set to roll into town in November.

It's that time of the year, once again... when, thanks to somewhat "delayed" heating (you see, the heater doesn't switch on by the temps outside, unlike in, let's say, Switzerland), your home gets a bit colder before it gets any warmer.

Since when has the Dish of the Jing -- gone south? News from around the Beijing Web tells of the following Peking Duck disasters:
• September 2008 tells of 20 duck-related inquiries and 8 duck-started-it complaints -- an increase of 87.5% over 2007 stats. Ow.

Take note -- if you're driving a car with a yellow "environment sticker", you're going to be out of the 5th Ring Road and all parts of Beijing inside it beginning next year (January 1, 2009).
