长城汽车 – Europe’s best selling mini-car brand shows muscle over Chinese copycat

Italy’s legendary and hugely successful mini car – Fiat Panda – has been given giant backing by a Turin appeals court last week which ruled that China’s Great Wall Motors GWPeri must not be exported to Europe. GWPeri which had been unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show earlier this year “is a Fiat Panda with a different front end” the court said. The Chinese brand may have tried to become what Fiat Panda stands for ever since its launch in the ‘80s: ‘A rugged utility-box for modern peasants’….
