These guys should win something just for the original content (China and India focused), the fantastic design and the brilliant name. The only blog out there - anywhere - with this subject matter, and some seriously good writing - everything from inventing "The Curry Leaf Martini" to comparisons between the Bombay & Shanghai Stock Exchanges, to why India is the rising elephant and it's comparisons with dragon China. Excellent work, and should really be in a category all of its own. It's not often something original comes along and 2point6billion has it in spades. Essential reading.

2point6billion is the most inventive entrant here. Also a Dezan Shira & Associates blog, in fact if their combined votes with their China Briefing blog they entered seperately were put together they'd be in front. But 2point6 is far more forward looking than anything else in this competition. The only site to point the way forward regionally and actually challenge some of the misconceptions about China and compare it with another country in a meaningful way. Unique, actually and a brilliant initiative. Even if they don't win they should get a prize for originality and the subject matter, no-one else is coming close to what this site is doing or understands about the regional dynamics. Sheetal, Indian business in China is behind you !
