worst pub crawl

Last Friday Pam, Ilse and Kat organised a “worst pub” crawl. The idea was to visit all the bars on Sanlitun we normally never go for the obvious reason that they in no way appeal to us.

They managed to gather a group of around 15 mostly Dutch and German people and we started off at Cappuccino at the far north end of the bar street. The waiters were enormously happy to have so many laowai in their bars and found it a pity to see us go again after drinking only 1 beer.

We had to bargain all the time for lower prices, since they charge the simple Tsingtao beer at ridiculous prices, even up to RMB 35 a bottle, uhum…

After a couple of hours we ended in Boys & Girls, another shitty place, and because most of us could still stand Browns was the next destination. For me that was still part of the worst pub crawl, since I don’t really like it there anyways.

We ended the night in China Doll, God knows what happened, I came home around 9am…;)
