page number search box

Any possibility that you can install a search box for page numbers?  Presently, to my knowledge, one can only navigate the pages by using the few numbers shown or by the arrow that will let you advance by only three or four pages at a time.  This is a very, very slow method due to the huge number of pages on this site.  A box to type in the page number 1, 4, 10,000 that will take you to this page will reduce the amount of time that I have to spend trying to determine whether or not an article I am interested in has already been posted.

Additionally, perhaps a search box by topic for the entire site (posts).

These additions would make doing a little research on your site considerably less painful and time consuming.
