This is definitely the best new fresh face on the scene!

Agreed it's a great site if you're into China culture and travel - excellent magazine, great china city guides and the kudos of being the ONLY site in the entire competition to have had over 60 original articles ripped off by the Confucious Institute (see the blog for the story !)

Best in it's category by far with cool articles like "Tibet & Tantric Sex", "China's Border Crossings With India" and "Xinjiang Silk Road Art At Bezeklik" as well as other stuff about getting way out there. Totally cool.

Yup a very good general and travel site. About the best place to go looking for articles about Xinjiang, Tibet and Chinas wilder places. Like the blog author getting lost ina Desert! Great stuff, one of Chris Devonshire-Ellis' I believe. Good work guys

Well, those last couple of comments above seem a little, ah-heh, fishy, but I have to say the Tea Leaves seem to be coming along pretty well. It still needs a bit of polishing but I've really enjoyed a few of the entries. I think it didn't even exist a few months ago. Not sure...

China Expat has been around for ages. Promoted more in second tier cities than in Shanghai & Beijing I think.Ā I think is one of the more intertesting sites out thereĀ
