Spasib'bolshoi!

y, s'sSHHHLIIVVAAAAAAHHHHHH!

Peter, thank you for giving me this, as a farewell gift! 8)

And I invite any and all of my friends on TPD, to say goodbye to me on this thread.

(PS, and the fact that it's a German version of a Russian song, makes it even more cool....)

(PPS, Peter, now I wonder, WHY did you post this German version of a Russian song "dedictated to Ivan?" Were you testing me? Or what the fuck were you thinking? In any case, I think this music video - a Russian cartoon with German lyrics - is a perfect theme song for me to make an exit.

I just thought you'd like it.
Where are you going?

Away, as the CCP have devoured Richard and then they belched out a loud:

"BURP!"

If they devoured him they'll have to shit him out sometime...

Keeping Honour is like holding water in your hands. Once you let the water slip through your hands, it's hard to catch it again.

To tell you the truth, you've given me and everybody else many gifts. I'd just thought you should be reminded of it if nobody told you yet.

Peter, I couldn’t agree with you more.

Ivan and I have grown from enemies to friends to comrades in arms over the past 18 months or so. We didn’t always see eye to eye. And we argued fiercely from time to time. Regardless of our differences, he always remains loyal to our friendship. To that, I can irrefutably testify.

Ivan loves most living creatures big and small. But he has a soft spot in particular for species from the canine and feline varieties. He understands the “cat” in me better than anyone else. That’s why he keeps encouraging me to adopt a dog (for some reasons I’ve never owned one before). He says that a dog will help me achieve a more balanced view of life. The breed that he recommends to me has the following characteristics: stubbornness, generosity, cheerful, ruggedness, loyalty, and good humour. Dogs of this breed tend to be a bit on the casual, disorderly side. But they can be very well mannered and orderly if asked to – even though they'd rather clown around most of the time. To me, Ivan possesses all of these qualities that he admires in other living creatures.

My friendship with Ivan will continue outside of this forum. He will continue to have my love, admiration and loyalty, as my way of repaying him for his generosity and friendship.

I second that.

Through thick and thin, Ivan has been sincere to me, which I value very much mainly because of all the bullshit my job makes me wade through. I will miss him for that, and I just wanted to thank Ivan for that.

May fair winds push you through all your endeavors.

Thanks, Fat Cat.

I would prefer for your words to be the last words that anyone says about me here.

For reasons which I don't want to discuss in detail, I will never trust this site ever again, and that is something that cannot be reversed.

This serves as both apology and farewell:
