t_co (by the way, are you the authentic t_co or his moronic cousin?)

You are completely out of your depth here. You are quoting from a guy who writes travel books!!! You must be so desparate to prove a point that doesn't exist.

The likelihood is, the author of this article owns a travel business that's affected by the travel warning that the Australian government just issued. He is therefore venting his anger.

If you want to comment intelligently and critically about the Australian government's policy in the Pacific region, at least you should consult more reliable sources. And there are plenty of them around. I can easily give you a full reference list. But on a second thought, I won't. It's up to you to do some homework - and some growing up too. 8)

What, t-co, you vicious little Communist whore, first you bent over and let the Chinese Communist Party fuck you up the ass with propaganda about Tonga until their dirty little rat-sperm spilled out of your fingers onto this thread:

http://www.pekingduck.org/pond/viewtopic.php?t=942

...and NOW evidently the CCP have fucked you up the ass, all the way up to your brain, AGAIN, and now you're EXPANDING the CCP's Pacific propaganda campaign to include Fiji.

t-co, you and your CCP whoremasters are just so, so, so transparent. You cannot even begin to imagine how much you disgust me. If I ever meet you in person, t-co, I won't piss on you, because my piss is too good for you.
I'll bring a rat in a cage and let the rat piss on you.

You seem to be further off the mark with this find; trolling the internet for any mention of a conspiracy against Chinese interests. The analysis in this blog seems to be very off the mark:

". The Qarase government has aligned itself closely with Australia, and a military coup might result in Fiji tilting toward the Peoples Republic of China"

"Australia has a very profitable neo-colonial relationship with Fiji, running huge trade surpluses with the country year after year."

What? This guy needs to get off the kava

Breaking news is saying that the coup is finally taking place. Australasian intervention has been looking for stability, but there is not a great deal of sympathy for the current government which is itself there from a coup in 2000; but having another strongman pushing his weight around to get what he wants by another coup is not seen as the ideal situation.

Though on surface, this military leader would seem to have ideals that would fit closer to Australian interests; and not as portrayed in this blog. The military coup has incredibly high support amongst Fijian Indians, those Indians who are many generations removed from India, and it was mooted that the coup would re-instate the previous democratically elected Fijian Indian prime minister, who was outed by a coup lead by Indiginous native Fijians.

I am bewildered by this idea of a conspiracy against Chinese interests; but it is par the course.

"Canberra, in addition to important military links, Fijians exports worth more than A$600 million a year are given concessional entry to Australia, and almost 40% of its imports are from Australia."

"Canberra is also a key player in attempts to revive Fiji's flagging textile, clothing, and footware industry.

About 35% of Fiji's tourists are Australian"

plus aid.. none of this adds up to the profitable neo-colonialism.

t.co give up on this conspiracy and take responsibility for China's woes
