Why can't Mainland PRC Chinese people dance?

Sorry, I really don't give a flying fuck if anyone calls me "racist" for asking this question - not least because this question is not about race, but it's about the PRC and how the PRC Communist Pigs have turned almost everyone in their benighted country into pathetic specimens of the Human Race.

So now, let me ask you all:

Why the f--- can PRC people not dance? At all?

Or even move their bodies with the most basic kind of grace or dignity?

Whenever I see even the (putative) "best" dancers of the filthy f---ing PRC attempting to perform any ballet, they always move their bodies in the most pathetic, graceless, soul-less ways. And that's China's National Ballet. THEY suck! THEY cannot dance! They move their bodies in such half-hearted, spiriitually dead (graceless, awkward, inhibited) ways, like savages who have just barely begun to scratch the surface of civilisation.

And yet, those pathetic "dancers" of China's National Ballet are far more graceful than 99.99999999999 percent of the people of the PRC, whose body language has a collective IQ of around 45, somewhere in the range of physical imbeciles.

99.999999999 percent of the people of Mao's bloody barbarian PRC, have body language approximating that of borderline retarded 6 year olds. They have no grace and no control over their bodies at all. The move their bodies like mental retards - I won't even compare them to savages, because that would be an insult to savages.

Why, why, WHY do 99.99999999 percent of the people of bloody Mao's barbarian country of Communist China, have NO f----ing control over their bodily movements at all, not to mention the slightest hint of somatic grace?

My theory is that it all goes back to the Cultural Revolution, when they all went around smashing each other, shouting, "MAO! MAO! DA DAO! DA DAO!" on and on until they all became chronically dizzy, and that sense of disorientation and dizziness will remain typical of the people of the f---ng Maoist-Communist PRC for at least another thousand years, because they all beat the brains out of each other under Mao.

Does anyone have any other theories about this?

Okay, Ivan, I'll bite.

It's not that Chinese people can't dance. It's that every culture's music has its own rhythm that people absorb from the time they're young. Some Colombian friends gave up after trying in vain to show me how to imitate the sensuous way they'd move their hips while the rest of their bodies remained still.

One culturally varied expression of rhythm is clapping. Koreans, and probably Chinese and Japanese, too, clap on the beat, in contrast to Westerns who clap off-beat.

My god, don't tell me they can *all* move like Shakira? And here I was thinking that she patented those hip-rolls!

One of my favourite dancers is Tan Yuan Yuan of the San Francisco Ballet company. I have a video stashed somewhere of their production of "Othello" (in which she plays Desdemona), and (to this plebe's eyes at least) it's absolutely friggin beautiful. I can only hope they come here someday, before she retires (not that she's particularly long in the tooth...but still, you never know.)

As for theories...hmm, well, the CR was indeed catastrophic for Chinese arts. Ballet had zilch history in China to begin with, but the Cultural Revolution retarded whatever progress might have been made. While Balanchine was revolutionizing ballet in the States, ballet in China reached its (cough) "pinnacle" with "The White-Haired Girl" (and unbelievably, some ballet companies *still* have this piece of revolutionary schlock in their repertoire, when it should have been dumped into the dustbins as soon as humanly possible.)

I didn't get the rest of the post. What the heck are you saying - that mainlanders can't *dance* or that they comport themselves badly?

We all know dancing is just another tool of the bourgeois capitalists!!

In all seriousness, I think my above statement isn't entirely sarcastic. In the 70's, chinese would say "dancing is a game for capitalist pigs!", chinese today would say "dancing? That doesn't improve your grades, go study for your test!!!"

I think anything outside of math is pretty much discouraged by parents in China today.

And why do they all walk around with their heads pointed at least 90 degrees away from the direction in which they're walking, as if they were all infants who have absolutely no f---ing personal responsibility for what they do with their bodies?

Oops, I forgot. It's because they ARE infants. The Communist Part does not tolerate adults. Self-controlled, dignifed adults are a threat to the Communist Party.

"As we all know..." (mimicing a brainwashed, infantile CCP drone here....)

All the dances are already done by black teenagers in America, haha. There's no need for others to dance. I still remember the first time I witnessed a live black, this is the moment I can never forget.

And could somebody please teach them that if you walk around holding a pointed stick outward, it could stab somebody if you're careless (as most Chinese people are) or if you stumble?

Duhhhhhh....

Same thing goes for the cigarettes. OUCH!

"5,000 years of...." well evidently of running around like a pack of wild animals. And don't any of you apologists tell me that this is just misinformed or myopic white "racism", because let me tell ya, I've known some Black Africans (real Africans, not Americans) whose grace and dignity are delights and marvels to behold. Also, the Vietnamese. Race has nothing to do with it. Mao's Communist Party, who turned China into a barbarian country, has everything to do with it.

I think it's because of their god awful music. How could anyone develop a sense of style if they've grown up with Chinese opera? While the Russians were getting their groove on to Tchaikovsky, the Chinese were munching on watermelon seeds and forking over large sums of money to listen to high-pitched squawking.

Bai Hua,

Are you still in Beijing?

Drop me a PM to let me know how you're doing.
