buying a car

can anyone recommend a good place to buy a car in beijing? i would like to buy a slightly used car, preferably an automatic, although i dont mind learning how to drive standard. any advice would be welcome.
i know this is in contrast to all the political stuff, but with the rise of the taxi fares, its the only way i can still get around for under 2000 a month.
